At Dough Pro, we aim to make delivery simple, reliable, and clear. This Shipping Policy explains how we process, dispatch, and deliver orders placed on our website.
1. Delivery area
Dough Pro currently delivers within South Africa only.
We supply customers nationwide, including Durban, Johannesburg, Cape Town, and surrounding areas.
For international bulk or export enquiries, please contact us directly for a custom quote.
2. Order processing times
Orders are usually processed within 1 to 2 business days after payment has been confirmed.
Orders placed on weekends, public holidays, or after business hours will be processed on the next business day.
Please note:
- processing times may be slightly longer during high-demand periods
- bulk, pallet, or special-order quantities may require additional lead time
- we will contact you if there is any significant delay
3. Shipping methods
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on:
- delivery location
- parcel weight
- order size
- available courier services
Where available, live courier rates will be shown during checkout.
Orders are dispatched from our Durban base using trusted courier partners.
4. Estimated delivery times
Estimated delivery times after dispatch are:
- Major centres: 2 to 4 business days
- Regional and outlying areas: 3 to 6 business days
- Remote areas: may take longer depending on courier coverage
These are estimated delivery timeframes only and are not guaranteed.
5. Bulk and wholesale orders
Orders above 1 ton are handled separately through our wholesale process.
Large-volume, pallet, or bulk supply orders may require:
- custom freight arrangements
- separate lead times
- quote-based delivery pricing

6. Local pickup
Local pickup may be available from our Durban location.

If pickup is available for your order, you will receive confirmation once your order is ready.
Please do not arrive for collection until you have received collection confirmation.
7. Shipping charges
Shipping charges are shown at checkout before payment is completed.
Where free shipping promotions or minimum-order shipping offers apply, they will be clearly displayed on the website.
Dough Pro reserves the right to contact customers if an order requires a manual freight adjustment due to unusual size, weight, or delivery location.
8. Tracking
Where tracking is available, tracking details will be sent once your order has been dispatched.

9. Delivery delays
While we do our best to ensure timely delivery, delays can happen due to:
- courier network issues
- weather conditions
- public holidays
- high shipping volumes
- incorrect or incomplete delivery details
- remote or hard-to-reach delivery areas
Dough Pro is not responsible for courier delays once an order has been handed over for delivery, but we will assist where reasonably possible in tracking and resolving delivery issues.
10. Incorrect delivery information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details at checkout.
If an incorrect address, incomplete address, or unreachable contact number causes a failed delivery, additional shipping charges may apply for redelivery.
11. Failed delivery and returned parcels
If a parcel is returned to Dough Pro because:
- the customer was unavailable
- the address provided was incorrect
- the parcel was unclaimed
- delivery could not be completed for customer-related reasons
then the customer may be responsible for any additional shipping costs required to resend the order.
12. Damaged or missing items
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.
If your order is damaged, incomplete, or incorrect, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with:
- your order number
- clear photos of the parcel and products
- a short explanation of the issue

13. Delivery to one address per order
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, each online order is shipped to one delivery address only.
If you need products delivered to multiple addresses, separate orders may be required.
14. Product availability
All orders are subject to stock availability.
If a product is temporarily unavailable after your order is placed, we will contact you to arrange:
- a replacement
- a partial shipment
- a delayed dispatch
- or a refund where applicable
